It was pure hell! I need to be honest with you, although I was warned by many people including my nurse about possible side effects of first injection, I wasn't prepared for what happened to me. I thought I was going to die, my body started to shake uncontrollably, I felt so cold as if I was in a freezer, my bones were aching, heart racing and my brain nearly exploded.
I made it worse myself by refusing to take Paracetamol LOL I don't like taking pills, I try to avoid them as much as possible, but that night I should have taken them and now looking back I do regret being so stubborn.
I had a sleepless night, couldn't close my eyes until early morning, I had to put my jumper on as I was freezing all night in my bed under the super warm duvet LOL
My advice to all of you who is planning to start treatment - take Paracetamol!
The other advice - make sure you fridge is full of your favourite foods, I lost my appetite after the first injection and could only eat grapes, bananas and apples and drink fruit juice. I had to ask my friend to go to the shops and buy some for me as I physically couldn't go out, couldn't drive, couldn't even walk far... I was SO tired and not myself all week.
As I lost my appetite I lost some weight too, be prepared for that.

the sleepness nights are different with different people. I hate them, what can you do when your bodies exhausted, your brain aches and you cant sleep ? - Ouch. first four weeks sleepless.It settled into a nice normal pattern for six weeks, but last six sleepless again. - Spent last week on the sofa to let my wonderful wife get some normal sleep without my disurbance.
Hope it all settles into a pattern for you dude.

I was lucky, I only had problems with sleep after my first injection.
Second one went without any complicatons. Now I sleep as a log LOL
You need to learn how to relax your brain. I will write about it in my blog today.
It's great that you are so considerate to your wife! And hope that your sofa is comfortable, because mine is not LOL but looks good!
